Policies & Rules
Children under the age of 18 requires a parent be present during the entire duration of the lesson. There are no exceptions.

2. Cancellation Policy:
Students/Parents Responsibilities: I require 24 hour notice for all canceled lessons (illness or family emergencies are the only exceptions). If there is not 24 hour notice then there will be a $15 cancellation fee. If the canceled lesson is rescheduled within 3 days of the cancellation then the $15 fee will be reduced to $5.00.Cancelled lessons must be confirmed over the phone or by email, no text messages please.
Instructor Responsibilities: I will give the same courtesy of providing at least 24 hour notice for any lesson cancellation. Unless there is an immediate emergency, I will notify all students and parents immediately of any cancellation and rescheduling necessary. As my duty as the instructor if I can not provide 24 hour notice of a cancellation then a $15 credit will be applied to the student's balance.
5. Referral Policy:
Current students can earn a $10 credit towards one of their lessons for each student referral that completes four lessons. The referral policy is not valid for referrals within the current student's household. There is no maximum amount of times a current student can take advantage of this policy.
6. Multiple Lessons Policy:
Students can have 2-30 minute lessons at the one hour rate expense for only a few situations. If a student is wanting to learn both violin & piano this policy applies. Also if there are multiple students in the home wanting to take up lessons this policy applies. Only immediate family can take part in this price break.
7. No Show Policy:
Instructor’s Residence Lessons: If the student does not arrive for a
scheduled lesson at the instructor’s residence then they will owe the
cost of the lesson.
8. Returned Check:
Payments in the form of checks are accepted, in the event a check
is returned for insufficient funds then there is a $35 fee in
addition to the complete amount on the check.
9. Practice Contract: The parents and the students must commit to practicing at least twice a week for a minimum of 30 minutes (students
4-5 years old can be broken down into 15 minute increments). Please read the practicing tips and resources to further benefit the student in their learning experience.
